'I don't have enough words for how highly I recommend Kirsty. I started classes with her before covid, then covid struck.  She adapted, she encouraged, she inspired, she kept us all motivated and when we could have classes she gave her all. I'm not in anyway a gym bunny, but her classes are really fun and challenging (but in a good way!). GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

Group exercise classes are a fun and social way to improve your fitness.  Group participation helps with motivation and an element of healthy competition can really help you to get the most out of your workout.   BraveHeart Fitness classes are 60 minutes and cost £6 per class when paid as a block series or £7 per class pay-as-you-go.  All designed to help you plan in your workouts and make your commitment to your health and wellbeing as easy as possible.  Children 12 years + are welcome and encouraged to attend my classes with an adult (pairs training together from the same household pay £5 per outdoor fitness class).

BraveHeart Outdoor Fitness Classes:

BraveHeart outdoor fitness classes are designed to get you moving quickly, targeting different muscle groups with minimal rest in-between exercises.  As the class can be adapted to all fitness levels it allow’s children & parents, partners or friends to train together.  It keeps your body challenged and your heart rate accelerated.  Plus your metabolism stays higher throughout the day, enabling your body to burn more calories post workout. During outdoor fitness classes we use equipment such as battle ropes, slam balls, barbells and sand filled power bags to improve strength, mobility and stamina.  And with group challenges there’s plenty of opportunity for some friendly team interaction and competition.

 

BraveHeart Kettlebells:

It's time to challenge your body.  If you keep doing the same thing you'll keep getting the same results.

BraveHeart Kettlebell class is a power-packed strength and cardio workout with one or more kettlebells that builds strength, endurance, balance and flexibility.  A study by American Council on Exercise (ACE), confirmed the average study participant burned approximately 20 calories per minute during a typical kettlebell workout.  This equates to an astounding 400 calories during a 20-minute workout.  In terms of calorie burning, these results are equivalent to running a six-minute mile pace, or cross-country skiing uphill at a fast pace.  At BraveHeart kettlebells you will burn calories, lose weight, gain strength and make new friends.

 

BraveHeart PureStretch:

11:30am Monday, St Mary's Church Hall, Beverley.

5:45 p.m Tuesday, Walkington Village Hall.

2:00 p.m Wednesday, Walkington Village Hall.

BraveHeart PureStretch involves stretch routines, core strengthening exercises and relaxation techniques incorporating aspects of Yoga and Pilates - with a bit of fun thrown in!  This class will focus on lengthening and strengthening muscles to improve mobility, balance and reduce the risk of injury.  We finish with a relaxation to focus on physical and mental wellbeing so you leave feeling calmer, happier and more refreshed.  The benefits of stretching include:

  • Improve your ability to do daily activities.

  • Decrease you risk of injuries.

  • Improves posture.

  • Decreases the risk of lower back pain by improving flexibility in the hamstrings, hip flexors and muscles attached to the pelvis, relieving stress on the lumber spine.

  • Decreases muscle stiffness and increases range of motion.

  • Reduces muscular tension and enhances muscular relaxation.

  • Enable your muscles to work most effectively.

  • Improve your performance in physical activities and helps relieve post-exercise aches and pains.

  • Promotes circulation by Increasing muscle and joint blood supply through your entire body.

  • Helps reduce or manage stress.

 

BraveHeart Boxercise:

Boxercise is an exercise concept based on the training methods used by boxers.  Sessions typically involve hitting focus pads but no class involves hitting an opponent.  It is a fun, challenging and safe workout which is great for stress busting, accessible to all ages and fitness levels.  Boxercise is a popular choice for personal training sessions with children and adults.

BraveHeart Family Bootcamp 

Family sessions are aimed at parents and children 5years+ who wish to exercise together.  The focus is on a mixture of cardio and bodyweight exercises that are fun and challenging with some games mixed in to make it fun.  Spend time together, improve your fitness, laugh and high-five your way to a healthier lifestyle.
