"I joined one of Kirsty's Boxercise classes between lockdown 1 and 2.  I found it hard to start with as I didn't know anyone and I wasn't very fit, but Kirsty and all the other class members made me feel welcome.  With Kirsty's patience and encouragement I started to feel fitter and stronger . When lockdown 2 started I didn't want to loose the work I had put in, so I decided to have some personal training sessions . With the one to one training I feel Kirsty tailor's the sessions to my needs.  She encourages me to do more than I think I can, and with her knowledge I feel like I get a full body workout .  I highly recommend Kirsty for her professional friendly approach and her classes are great fun while you work out."

"I hadn't attended a class for a few years due to having a family so I was nervous about starting Boxercise. I was also unsure as I have no upper body strength but I was desperate to get fit and loose some baby weight. The class was brilliant, everyone was so friendly and put me at ease straight away. Kirsty went at our pace and was supportive and relaxed. I felt at ease and we had a great workout.

Since the lockdown we have gone onto online classes, Kirsty continues to be so motivating and supportive, always a smile and a positive comment to keep us going and I'm continuing to get hot and sweaty whilst having a great time. Toning up and feeling better about myself.

"I'm not somebody who loves to exercise, in fact I would go so far to say I try to avoid it at all costs.  However, as age creeps up, so do the digits on the scales and I know deep down that engaging in fitness is really what is needed to combat this.  So I made a plan to attend a weekly class with Kirsty at BraveHeart Fitness.  It is timed just right for me, after the school drop off in a morning, so I have no excuses to hide behind.  It is tough, but Kirsty supports everybody and now I am seeing my stamina increase each week.  The weekly HIIT class is varied and flexible, which stops boredom setting in and builds skills in a variety of disciplines.  I actually even enjoyed the battle ropes and found them much easier than I thought I would! Transferring classes to a Zoom workout at home has been just as enjoyable, adapting the workout to suit limited equipment and space in a home environment.  I would recommend BraveHeart classes and say just go along and give them a try!"

"A year ago I joined Kirsty in Walkington Village Hall for her Boxercise Class. It was daunting to say the least. I was very overweight and socially phobic. Very quickly I was there laughing and really enjoying myself whilst getting fit and meeting new people. I will be honest and say I have compared myself to others in the group. They're slimmer, they have nicer clothes, they're prettier, they're more fun. What I learned is we are all different but the team accepted me for who I am. What everyone in the team shares is kindness, support and motivation and the team is accepting of everyone. Kirsty is great. She knows her stuff and she knows when to push you and when your tired and might need a steadier workout. "It's your workout" is one of her sayings and always makes me smile. We have great music to keep us moving, singing and smiling. Kirsty has done everything she can to keep us all moving through the Covid changes and re-located classes outdoors. I found I enjoy exercise outdoors way more than indoors as it has the added bonus of being able to enjoy nature at the same time as doing frog jumps. I have not dieted (I love my food) but people are always asking if I have lost weight. Yes, some but mostly my shape just changed and my smile got brighter. Thank you Kirsty. "From being a real gym goer, following lockdown I found it really difficult to motivate myself at home. Thank goodness I found Braveheart Fitness! Kirsty is a great Instructor, knows what she’s talking about and really gets you motivated.  The classes are for all levels as she gives options and different weights for each exercise.  It’s great as the classes are held outside so I feel really comfortable and at the same time getting loads of fresh air and some vitamin D.  As she always says -  even in the rain, we still train.  Although the gyms are back open now, I will definitely be continuing my classes with Kirsty.  Along with meeting Kirsty, I’ve also met a bunch of new people who are lovely and friendly and make the classes fun!"

If you are starting your fitness journey or already quite fit - Kirsty’s class is for you! A great class with an instructor who can make a group class suitable for your level of fitness and push you a little bit further.  It’s fun too! I can’t recommend her classes enough, don’t think about it, do it ... it will be the best decision you have made to get where you want to be.

Up until the closure of our local Hall I was attending Boxecise classes twice a week, Tuesday evening and Friday Morning. Kirsty plans her classes different every time to make them more interesting and fun, at the same time having a really good workout to music with gloves and pads and some circuit training.  Although Kirsty keeps the classes light-hearted and fun, giving us a good workout without becoming bored, she is an excellent Instructor, friendly tuition but always professional, constantly keeping an eye on our technique (to avoid body injury].  When the Hall is open again I can recommend anyone that wants to get/keep fit to come along and join in. Kirsty makes everyone welcome and feel relaxed. These classes cater for all ages and fitness levels. Kirsty and the rest of us welcome you.  Come and join us, to relieve stress, have fun, and enjoy a real workout.

I joined Kirsty's classes during lockdown once we were allowed to train outside . I didn't know anyone else but was made to feel welcome . It's a great way to make friends and be part of a team it's great for your self esteem.
